Kinerja Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kota Palu dalam Penyelenggaraan Pemilihan Umum Legislatif Tahun 2019
ABSTRACT
I N D R A No. B 102 19 086 with the title "Performance of the General Election
Commission in Public Services in the 2019 Legislative Election in Palu City", was guided by
Darwis as supervisor I and Hasbullah as supervisor II.
This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Therefore this research is about
the performance of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Palu City in holding the
Legislative Election simultaneously with the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections and
the 2019 Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) in Palu City with an analytical
approach to public service theory (Agus Dwiyanto, 2006 ). Agus Dwiyanto's 2006 theory
includes five variables, namely productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility
and accountability that the performance of the Palu City KPU is only the responsiveness
variable that shows less or weak in supporting the improvement of the Palu City KPU's
performance in carrying out its duties and functions in the Legislative Election
simultaneously with the election. President and vice president and DPD in Palu City.
Other variables such as productivity, quality of service, responsibility and
accountability are sufficient to provide an increase in the performance of the Palu City KPU
in public services in the simultaneous legislative and presidential elections in 2019. For this
reason, the performance of the Palu City KPU in carrying out its duties and functions in the
legislative elections that more important in looking at performance is the factor of
coordination with the electoral administration agency at that time.
